Well well!It seems that it´s been a long time since something´s been posted here...so it´s time for me to take charge for this one time only! The thing is that Himeku went out of the city so I´m backing her up (she returned a few days ago, I should have already posted something! but shh...).
A few weeks ago we saw a self-proclaimed fantastic movie called "Princess Mononoke" --->("mononoke"/物の怪 /もののけ-- (n) (vengeful) ghost; specter; spectre.)
from the taka-takish director/master animator Hayao Miyazaki. Good movie,great animation, baaaaaaad romantic situation.
The plot goes like this: A kid/hero named Ashitaka saves his village from being destroyed by a demonic Pumba, but he gets cursed and is sure to dye unless he can go across the lands to find the deer God to cure him. He suddenly gets into a crossfire between a cute wolf lady (Princess Mononoke) and the villagers of a small town that makes iron weapons for the control of the forest. The rest is very simple:love, iron, pumbas, wolves, cute lady+ bad temper, deer God and fight.
Lovely. Just don´t ruin the movie by watching it in English please! The voices in the trailer were horrible! Too fake for such a rare and fascinating movie.
So, that´s the Movie of the Week, hope you see it.
